Brad Hershbein and Michelle Miller-Adams attend a White House convening on free college programs

On January 20, Institute staff members Brad Hershbein and Michelle Miller-Adams were in Washington, DC to attend a White House convening on free college programs. Led by staff from the White House Domestic Policy Council, the Department of Education, and the Council of Economic Advisers, the session was attended by leading education researchers from around the nation. The goal was to assess the state of knowledge about free college programs in light of President Obama's America's College Promise proposal. The institute's research activities around the impact of Promise programs was referenced throughout the meeting as an important contribution to the state of knowledge in the field.
